These days, I was attracted by the information that the Nis jazz fusion band Eyot held a “Nature Concert” on Dry Mountain. The picture itself is powerful enough, and in conjunction with the sound, it makes an even stronger impression.

Their concert reminded me of another event. About four years ago, with my choir Collegium Musicum, I traveled to Mexico and had the opportunity to visit the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan. When we climbed to the top, we decided to sing one song. The experience we have without exaggeration is one that I put in the folder “I will remember for the rest of my life”. I don’t think there are words that can describe it. The performance of Eyot reminded me of that moment, and I believe it’s an even more powerful feeling when you perform your music in such an incredible environment.

This Monday I wish you freedom in expression, choice, and movement. And a lot of good music to get you where you are going.

P.S. The good news is that the “Concert for Nature” of Nis band Eyot will premiere on the RTS 3 culture channel on Tuesday 14 May, at 7.15pm, so that all interested will be able to watch this unique performance.
