For the 50th anniversary of the successful Apollo 11 mission, NASA is currently preparing for a return mission to the Moon in 2024. For this occasion, they came up with an amazing campaign – they invited people to participate in making a playlist in which the astronauts will listen on this 6-day mission.

Like fired from a shotgun, I immediately prepared a song – Jeff Buckley “Lover, You Should’ve Come Over”. If any song should be aired on the Moon, then it’s Jeff’s. He is not with us for 22 years, but he left behind such powerful music, that listening to it in the space should not even be questioned.

Do you have a favorite song for NASA’s playlist? Feel free to send me your recommendations, so we can make together a playlist which they can’t resist 🙂

P.S. You can send your suggestions for NASA’s playlist until June 28th, using #NASAMoonTunnes on Twitter, and all sent songs for this “Moon Tunes” soundtrack will be aired on July 13th and 14th, on official NASA podcast – Third Rock Radio.
